Once in the app stand next to your light’s transformer so it can locate the lights and it will automatically discover them. No need to manually connect to them via Bluetooth. To turn the lights on and off you just tap the icon, simple as that. When you would like to change the color or program them, press and hold the icon to enter the control interface. If you got more than one set of lights the first thing you will want to do is rename them so you can easily identify what set you would like to control. For this you will enter the control interface and tap the little notepad in the top right corner and rename it from there. Once in the control interface you will first notice the RGB wheel where you can select any one of over 16 million colors! Below the RGB wheel you will notice 8 circles that will let you quickly switch between some of the basic colors. Say you just want a nice blue light, this is your best option. You can also press and hold any one of these circles and reprogram it to whatever color you would like. Once you get bored of these preset colors you can use that big RGB wheel above it to fine tune the lights to any color your heart desires.  To program a timer on the lights tap "interaction" in the top center of the screen. Then select "timing" and select the plus sign in the top right corner. Once there you will adjust the time to when you would like the event to occur and select when you would like it to repeat. After that select the event you would like such as on or off and hit save in the top right corner.
